The LAPDs reaction has been indefenseable and the cops involved should be behind bars. But that is a seperate issue from the initial guy being a terrorist.
You can call me a statist if you like, but if you support the killing of peoples families for being associated with an individual who may or may not even be a criminal, than you can go get hit by a bus as were probably better off without you.

I'm noticing that this "accidental" shooting on not one but two "similar looking" trucks is buried on the 2nd and 3rd pages of the article on most MSM sites. Unbelievable.

I for one hope he is captured alive ( I know it won't happen) and he tells us his story.
I read his manifesto. Nice mix of valid points and bat-sh!t crazy.

"Citizens/non-combatants, do not render medical aid to downed officers/enemy combatants. They would not do the same for you. They will let you bleed out just so they can brag to other officers that they had a 187 caper the other day and can’t wait to accrue the overtime in future court subpoenas."
Maybe that explains the lack of action by the NYPD in that subway knifing.
Also love the shot outs to the liberal politicians. Of course, the media isn't mentioning that he's a huge fan of the AWB.

With bad weather hitting the mountain area he may be hiding his "skills" are gonna be put to the test. I say its over before the weekend ends. (or four or five more vehicles shot up, which ever comes first)

This guy is intentionally leaving "clues" all over the place, like his badge at the Airport, truck in big bear and checking into a hotel at the naval base. I really doubt he's anywhere close to any of those objects. Probably back in LA hunting.

here is what this guy is going to do, he is going to disappear and let things quiet back down, the LAPD will let it's guard down and he will take out the next two or three, wash, rinse, repeat.
Do NOT go there. That's all I need to hear for the next month is, "if we can't trust our officers, how are we suppose to trust you?" Even though I'm trained probably more than they were! I hate the "civilian" title.

They did not bother to check the make/model/COLOR of the vehicle nor did they notice two women and not a beast of a black man (300lbs?).

It's another great example of why a lot of cops arent the right people for the job. The "I get home safe no matter what" mentality has rotted out the police in this country considerably. Apart of being a police officer is willing to take risks and accepting sacrifice for the community. Not shooting up civilians because you are scared and unsure who you are even interacting with.
Being a cop is now essentially a union hack job with the bottom line being getting a paycheck. Nothing more.

No shots fired at the police. At all. NO SHOTS FIRED. And these two chicks got THAT. Only because they drove around a blue toyota truck. Does that seem rational to you? You get to dodge bullets today because you're out driving your blue truck because there are a bunch of dickless police officers employed throughout this country. Sounds like a great day to be an american.

My "3 day shoot and survival school" was the US Army Infantry, and it was quite a bit longer than 3 days.

You gotta love the mall ninja look of this 'elite' looking squad. Duck boots, sneakers, and combat boots. And what is with that ring of hair around the face... I'm telling you, if they want to play thugs, they are certainly looking the part.
I'll Monday morning quarter back it all day long. First, why did they each seemingly unload an entire magazine into that truck? A big black guy looks like two women? If they were that scared, they should have grabbed their patrol carbines and held their ground until more Police showed up. But nope, they just started shooting. Oh, and lets talk about the shooting. It looks like freaking amateur hour on the back of that truck. And yes, I've been in firefights where people were actually shooting back. They had nobody shooting back and that truck was really not that far from that squad car. The back looks like swiss cheese.
This guy is clearly smart, has potentially valid grievances, and is also batshit crazy. But the LAPD are also clearly going over the deep end in their reaction.

11th post and already derailed. You have my pity. You might want to look around and get to the know the group before you judge them though.
Oh, and for your last post. Due process. Can't stress it enough, but a lot of people on here have seen people shot and killed for no reason and officers only get a slap on the wrist and here we have some questionable actions. I'm just saying if you think we're bad you should take your battle over to Million Moms and see how badly you get derailed over there.
Let them vent, then you can do damage control.

I gotta say police urban "operations" attire always seems stupid to me. Id like sneakers, light pants and a light shirt, that is some shade of grey or khaki. I don't understand the whole boots thing. Frankly I didn't understand boots half the time we were overseas, and apparently neither does SF which is why half the time they wear trail running shoes.
