Website every one should visit--IMPORTANT

IIRC dumpster pissers won't rank as L3s, so they won't even show up in most databases, unless they have L3 offenses in addition to the dumpster pissing. L3s are usually serious offenders. A guy caught pissing behind a dumpster is in the registry, but not a publicly accessible one. Even the L2s you have to go to the town PD to find out who those are.

Exactly my point. If there is a dumpster pisser on that list, it's in addition to other charges he has.

I figured as much. You won't give me a name because there isn't a single person on that list with only the charge you listed.

The difference between you and I? I don't try to fake my information to seem right. It would lessen my credibility.

Actually, there are several. The circumstances that led to the charge can't be determined from this website. And there are many states that still compel public urinators to register as sex offenders. Laws vary from state to state as to what kind of information can be made public.

Every American state keeps a register of sex offenders. California has had one since 1947, but most states started theirs in the 1990s. Many people assume that anyone listed on a sex-offender registry must be a rapist or a child molester. But most states spread the net much more widely. A report by Sarah Tofte of Human Rights Watch, a pressure group, found that at least five states required men to register if they were caught visiting prostitutes. At least 13 required it for urinating in public (in two of which, only if a child was present). No fewer than 29 states required registration for teenagers who had consensual sex with another teenager. And 32 states registered flashers and streakers.

I'd be sure of who I'm killing before I get the rope out.

I know at least two college "friends of a friend" that suffered similar fates. The bottom line is that the state needs us to be in a constant state of fear, and it's usually totally contrived. The presence of "sex offenders" is just another legitimate danger that's amplified disproportionally to it's actual threat.

Take it with a grain of salt.

Actually, there are none.

Oklahoma is full of "Indecent Exposure" registrants. Wonder which of these they did?:

Actually, there are none.

Huh. A bunch in Michigan, too.

750.335a Indecent exposure; violation; penalty.

(c) If the person was at the time of the violation a sexually delinquent person, the violation is punishable by imprisonment for an indeterminate term, the minimum of which is 1 day and the maximum of which is life.

Damn sex offenders. They suck. I've seen a real estate deal or two go belly up when the buyers found out the neighbor was 'registered'.
Here's an interesting fact for you all; NH is 12th in the nation per capita sex offenders. MA is 35th. Of course these are only the ones that get caught and convicted.

You keep saying that, but you haven't been able to point to one single person on the Level III sex offender list that we've been discussing for months that is on there for pissing behind a dumpster.

I'm referring to persons listed on the website in Post No. 1 who's only charge is "Indecent Exposure". I cited the statute for the two states I've referenced. I've pointed out that some states still classify as sex offenders people who urinate in public, participate in streaking or mooning, pick up hookers, and teens that have sex with girlfriends under the age of 18.

No go back and reread Post #105, which calls for violence against those listed on that website. I'm not listing names here because I'm not sure if they're guilty of anything more than being caught taking a piss, and these individuals certainly have adequate exposure already.

Do you think we have enough information to organize a necktie party?

I don't know the legal jargon. But it seems one of my fathers tenents is on the list. I tried searching CT definitions but no luck. He's convicted of the following.

53a-73a - Sexual assault 4th

I have never seen the site in the OP (I know this thread is kind of old) but I was turned on to http://www.crimereports.com/ the other day (no pun intended...)

I found out that there's a L3 rapist less than a 1/2 mile away who had 3 counts of rape/abuse on a child and 6 counts of assault/battery on a child under 14.

Awesome. WTF is wrong with people?

only one near ink... only 2 in the whole town.
WTF is up with so many sexual assaults on kids? the numbers in the city really surprised me.... kinda disturbing. o.o;
some of these people have upwards of 10 charges and some have 3, 4, 5 or more convictions.

It is kind of crazy, but sometimes, those charges are all from a "single crime" where they found clever ways to add different charges after the arrest, especially in cases involving children. They do that because they really have to stack the deck, otherwise the offenders will plead out and not serve any time at all in this lovely state of ours.[rolleyes] And I'm sorry but there should be a 3 strikes and you're out kind of thing in place for these scumbags like there is for other types of felonies. [angry]

there's a guy in my area convicted of rape in 2006, and another guy convicted of forcable rape of a child in 1984... why the hell arent these people still in prison?

oh, wait, massachusetts

They are too busy putting drug related felons in jail. There is a war on drugs don'tcha know? oh wait... they don't really go to jail for very long.... hmmm so why don't we build more prisons??? I'm so confused this whole government mumbo jumbo is making my brain hurt.

What scares me is this site is definately not showing ALL sex offenders. I typically jump on the WickedLocal.com site for my town and about 2 years ago if I remember correctly there was a guy living in my community who got busted for having sex with underage prostitutes in another state. They raided his house and found child pornography on his computer.

What's really messed up about this is the community I live in has a lot of kids!!!! After this made news when he got arrested, the story went cold and never knew what happened. Guessing it's still in the court system.

3 strikes??? Maybe if the offender is really young and the crime was reletively minor I might think that 1 chance was appropriate after a looooong sentence served. There would be VERY FEW second chances and no 3rd chances in my world. Not for predators.

Oh, I totally agree in a perfect world, I was more referring to what the guy I quoted said about people with 6-10 convictions. Something is SERIOUSLY wrong with any system that would allow it to go that far without throwing away the key, or putting the needle in these guy's arms!
