Suicide bombers kill more than 207 people hurt 500 in 'attack on Christians' on Easter Sri Lanka

I spent the latter part of last week in SE India, not that far from Sri Lanka. All across India and other parts of Asia you'll see the nicer hotels have a car check station away from the building- under car mirrors, bomb sniffing dogs, thorough vehicle checks etc. Armed guards, x-ray for luggage, and metal detectors for people just to enter the hotel. In NW India, the Indians are very wary of Paki's and the security is even heavier.

What's interesting is that India (and I assume Sri Lanka) have many, many religions and they all more or less get along- except for several elements of ONE. I'll let you guess which one...

We are all still waiting for the official announcement. No guessing yet! ;)

"The news" is the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party which is fully aligned with militant Islam. So expect to hear more about non-existent "obstruction of justice" than about the depredations of bloodthirsty savages.

Mankind's prime motive is to conquer other Men.

For the Enlightened (those who diminish the importance of traditional Religious differences), that Prime Motive can be redirected toward conquering Nature.

But almost all the Population of the World is unenlightened.

I came to the conclusion quite a long time ago - that the Prime Motive is in fact the conquering of nature.

Men who seek to conquer other men - have the minds of slavers, in that they refuse to do their own work.

They are in fact parasites.

If I can conquer nature - I can survive. I can eat. I can build myself shelter. If I can do that - I have in fact accomplished something.

If I conquer another man - and he refuses to do my bidding, I will still not have accomplished anything useful.

It's this very simple realization that makes me hate all the commies, and socialists, and the welfare state - and all the other assorted leeches I have run across in my life.

The better part of my life has been spent doing that conquering of nature thing you refer to.

What I absolutely refuse to do - is other people's work for them.

I think the world would be a much better place if everybody else would do the same.

Can someone explain to me how Muslims (or whoever) benefit from setting off bombs in churches?

How does this advance their cause, other than by literally eliminating "the competition?"

Pretty much everyone else in the world decried this.

Really? Is that why a member of Congress refers to one such incident as “Someone who did something...” because they actually decry actions such as this?

Ilhan Omar tweeted this this morning:

"As countless people attend Easter service today, our prayers are with the people of Sri Lanka who lost loved ones in these horrible attacks. No person, of any faith, should be fearful in their house of worship."

I'm certainly no fan of hers, but at least in this instance she sort of said the right thing.

Because randomly terrorist attacks succeeded in the past. Decrying is one thing and the actual results another. Hitler succeeded when he launched terrorist attacks on Polish and Czechoslovakian police stations and radio towers. GB and France were afraid that the very same terror may come to them so they have given portions of Czechoslovakia to Hitler and left Poland to burn. Jewish underground fighters were terrorizing British in Palestine. Yasser Arafat was a very successful terrorist himself. Fidel Castro and Stalin were nothing else but bunch of terrorists also.
Dying to Win: The Strategic Logic of Suicide Terrorism; Dying to Kill: The Allure of Suicide Terror

So, regrettably, terrorists do succeed from time to time even now. They may not achieve everything they have wanted', but they do make profound changes to countries. They have changed things in America also.

They have changed things in America also.

Exactly. Anyone remember what airport security was like pre 9/11? I once boarded with a four-inch pocket knife. The agent at security just compared blade length to her palm width and handed it back to me. Now I've been searched for a zipper than registered too hot on the scanner.

Terrorists have left their permanent mark on us. Meanwhile some of our "leaders" won't even say the words "radical Islam" to identify the perpetrator, or "Christianity" as the victim. Pitiful.

War is the continuation of Diplomacy by other means.
Carl von Clausewitz

We keep forgetting it! International media want us to believe that we should all melt our weapons, go to work and pay taxes just because world is a safe place now and even when, from time to time, we are attacked, we can't possibly understand the complexity of the issues surrounding our own existence. This is why we are being labeled as "gun worshipers", like some relics from the time when people had to pay attention to their own safety.

Reality is different, though. Whenever such feelings are translated into laws, and the general population starts believing in government structures, disasters strike and governments fall.

Governments do not trust people who are not part of the government. In other words, they will rather trust their own bureaucrats than individual people. This leads to a complacent population which is not ready for anything. We like to call it "sheep". Government will never have enough bureaucrats so attacks will be happening. The real prevention lies only with educated and ready-to-defend public. Instead of being afraid of guns and violence, learn how to handle yourself when attacked or, at least, learn how to be observant. Boston bombers were exploding bombs in somebody's backyard and nobody reported them. Boston bombers placed heavy rucksacks right in front of somebody's child and they were able to leave them there and leave! This would possibly not happen if the public would be trained on how to be observant and concerned about THEIR OWN SAFETY. Our society erased our abilities to survive on our own. We do need to teach it again! That is the best possible prevention. Some idiots decided that they will preach indifference and peace will arrive on it's own. I am always shocked when I see young parents bringing their kids into medical facilities with them and allowing them to freely crawl on the ground of the waiting room which is possibly well supplied with germs and viruses. This would not happen if somebody would train these parents on how to protect themselves and their families. This may sound trivial, but we are living in stupid times and we are not paying attention anymore. Sri Lanka's government was warned, Boston was warned.......How did that work out?

ALLEGED SRI LANKA SUICIDE BOMBER: “ANYONE WHO DISAGREES WITH MUSLIMS SHOULD BE KILLED”
Extremist statement went unnoticed

One of the alleged suicide bombers responsible for the terror in Sri Lanka previously made a video in which he stated “anyone who disagrees with Muslims should be killed.”

Imam Mohamad Tawhidi posted a video of Islamic extremist Zahran Hashim uttering the statement, which was made in front of a backdrop showing a knife and blood.

“We spend hours exposing extremists every day. This video & its background went unnoticed due to language barriers. If he was exposed & brought to the attention of the authorities, he could’ve been stopped,” tweeted Tawhidi, who in a separate tweet criticized YouTube for hosting Hashim’s radical content.

According to reports, Hashim was responsible for the suicide bombing at the Shangri La hotel.

As we previously reported, journalist Saif Khalid claimed that reporting the name of Hashim was “Islamophobic”.

This tweet was vulgar but not surprising given that Khalid works for Al-Jazeera, which is owned by the Islamist Qatari government.

AL-JAZEERA JOURNALIST CLAIMS REPORTING NAME OF ALLEGED SRI LANKA SUICIDE BOMBER IS “ISLAMOPHOBIC”
Bizarre defense of radical Islam following horrific bombings

Al-Jazeera journalist Saif Khalid claims that reporting the name of one of the alleged suicide bombers in Sri Lanka is “Islamophobic”.

Over 200 people have died after explosions rocked three luxury hotels in the nation’s largest city, Colombo, and three packed Catholic churches. Two additional attacks took place at other sites.

One of the alleged suicide bombers behind the attack on the Shangri La hotel has been identified as Islamic extremist Zahran Hashim.

However, Al-Jazeera journalist Saif Khalid suggested that even reporting Hashim’s name was “Islamophobic.”
