Octoberfest

Not a shoot. We tried, but the clubs are booked. It is a meet and greet at Tortilla Flat
595 DW Highway
Merrimack, NH
1:00 pm.
There is a gun show in Manchester if you want to hit that in the morning and then meet us at the restaurant.

Flooding issues? I was going to go up 9 but I guess it is closed due to flooding so it will be pike to 93 I guess.

If your coming from Western MA. The Pike to 495 to 3N would probably be faster.

OK, it looks like we'll be staying Sat night somewhere between Manchester and Deerfield, Mass. The wife wants to go to Yankee Candle before we head down south. Any suggestions for places to stay or avoid?

That one (S Deerfield Motel 6) is now a Red Roof Inn, and it's booked. Staying at the Motel 6 in Leominster. Cost is just over $50 with the discounts.

Thanks Glenn, see you tomorrow.

Derrr I knew that. I just couldn't think of the name change. :D
CRS strikes again.

I'm with Lynne. You guys have fun, and I'll wish that I was there.

I had an offer to ride up with Len, but I can't leave my wife and kid for that long alone...

So, we'll all be home tomorrow, being that my shoot was canceled because of the rain.

Be sure to come back here and tell us all the details about everyone...

I want to know who picks their nose at the dinner table. :D

I'll bring a camera.

BTW, you could go up and hang with Cross-X & Jon Green at Riverside. They're going to be shooting in the rain... [roll] Guess that's what stainless steel pistols are for. :)

Lynne, good luck with your training . . . you are doing the right thing, although we'll miss Ed and you.

To All:

Given the weather, I'm glad we didn't schedule a shoot today. Unless we were training for underwater shooting, it would not be a pleasant day to be outside in NH.

CAUTION: There is a river right next to both the Hotel where the gun show is and Tortilla Flat. Weather advisories are "Minor to Moderate Flooding" on some rivers in the area. . . not sure if it is this river or not, but please be cautious!

About to leave for NH . . . I feel like a salmon swimming upstream! [roll]

Hope the trip doesn't take much longer than usual or I'll skip the gun show.
