Well, overall I am pleasantly surprised. This "School Shield" program makes lots of sense.

Is it just me, or did it seem like they let the guy hold up the banner for what seemed like waay too long? And a camera crew conveniently in the hallway to capture every word he said as he was ushered out? Media bullshit.

I thought it was good. Mainstream media will shit all over it by only showing 7 second clips of whatever part they can spin. This won't help, but at least the NRA didn't screw anything up worse that it already is.

I did like that he brought up that he told them 5 years ago to protect schools after VA Tech and no one listened. Score one for Wayne.

Yeah, I want them to stand firm on any new AWB talk. Not that it will matter either way, but I don't care if the NRA goes broke telling them not to pass a new ban.

I will 100% renew my membership now. Not much, but it is the least I can do to help.

I agree, and couldn't believe that they allowed him to almost obscure Wayne with his sign held up so high! They should have had guys with ARs strapped to their chests like a swat team escorting these scumbags out![laugh] Just kidding, because I know that wouldn't be downplaying the violence angle, but it would have been funny nonetheless.[wink]

made lots of good points, a few REALLY SHITTY ones, and the military protecting schools is definitely out in my book.
