The Country Gazette is usually filled with at least a dozen or so arrests during and after the game.

"a dozen or so" is totally insignificant amongst the masses that attend.

Having worked for a PD, when the media called to ask "anything happening" after they heard info on our police radios, we always answered "no, just a quiet evening" I know to this day that the PD admin "sanitizes" the info they give the local paper and only give out selected tidbits for publication. So those published accounts aren't representative of what really goes on.

Not only that, but they choose what to report, and often get the stories wrong. If people want to know about crime in their community they should buy a scanner, because the newspapers catch about 10% of what goes on.
