What is a Good Super Cheap Pistol For a Super Cheap Optic?

I shot a Keltec 9mm carbine, it actually felt like a toy. A cheap toy, that you would buy at Walmart. That rifle deserved a cheap optic for sure.

Guys, you are not helping my friend. He seems interested in the Keltec P17.

What sre your thoughts on the Keltec P17?
Do you think it is ugly enough for a cheap red dot?

Sounds like he's going to be too cheap to buy real ammo anyway, so send him shopping for Airsoft pistols on wish.com. They have some pretty sweet optics too.

From what I saw on youtube recently the Ruger red dot can be bought for $60 and is built for the RSMc pattern and it works because it doesn't use batteries or electronics of any kind. IMO, instead of buying a cheap pistol and trying to find a cheap red dot to mount to it, find whatever the Ruger red dot will fit on.

IDK what .22's are available in the RSMc cut other than Shield pistols and IDK if the POA of the dot would match the POI (remember, non adjustable) and a 15 MOA dot is pretty big. Shot placement is crucial with .22
