That is odd
No it's not -- Murdoch is a globalist (Think UN global gun ban) and FOX is the "controlled" opposition -- emphasis on "controlled" --just as in "gun control", FWIW.

Who, LaPierre. Yeah, it's ironic isn't it? The best contribution is simply ending gun free zones, shooters wont know if there's some citizen there with a CCW.I was just told supporting armed people protecting schools is furthering the police state and big government. This guy is an admitted socialist. ****in crazy

Good to see they are blaming the real culprit too, the media.
The media bashing was fun but more time should've been used on DEFENDING rights than suggesting a "solution" to a singular concern.

Did anyone catch the part after the second moonbat with the white sign was removed. A reporter tried to get a response from Wayne, after being ignored he commented "just stick to the script". The media bias is just amazing. Same kind of crap when Ron Paul was running.
WTF??? Someone tackle that douchebag
I am beyond pissed about the video game and media bashing. Wayne was talking about consumption of 1A protected media exactly the same way the anti-gunners talk about gun ownership.
A forceful response to the protesters would've been exactly what the media wanted.

Other than that, it was the best I thought I could expect. I would've come down more on the armed citizen side than more police, but that's minor. I'm a life member, and I'm seriously torn about whether to resign or not. I'm that angry. Wayne is a bumbling old fool. Time for Cincinnati v2.
It's an interesting theory he presented. Violence is far more prevalent now in all forms of media, often grotesque. If people are asking why society is falling apart at the seams lately, it should be examined. He never called for laws curtailing the 1st amd., he simply stated that the media doesn't have the class or morality to not spew violent brainless shoot 'em ups upon the masses. Perhaps they should have some restraint and inspection of impact. It's a reflection on culture.

The NEA will come out quickly against anything the NRA proposes. They will find some obscure clause in their boilerplate union contract saying they don't have to work in a school with an armed guard.
The media has come a long ways with technology and depicts many acts of violence, gun violence. That said, I love me some COD and I don't want green blood like they have to show in Germany. With all the drugs floating around, maybe some people can't handle videogames, perhaps a tiny minority are influenced by games. And yes, if you make a game called kindergarten shooter, you're a scumbag. It's food for thought.Especially in video games, which often mimic the wars we are in. No one ever talks about that violence though.
People make it sound like no one was ever killed or massacres never took place before we had tv. GMAFB.
Best statement
Why is the idea of a gun good when it's used to protect the Pres ... but bad when it's used to protect our children in our schools
How do you stop a gun that does not register at a metal detector? Glock makes plastic guns, the scum in Conn. shot himself with one. High impact plastics allow for plastic rifles to be made. This is not science fiction. There is a you tube video of the firing of a plastic AR-15. Banning assault weapons is only a knee jerk reaction and will accomplish nothing just like the ban from (1994-2004) did nothing!
Proof Positive that the gov has no interest in solving problems but rather create committees and argue ad nauseam. In 20 minutes the NRA presented a reasonable and achievable path forward. Wasn't so hard was that? This is how things get done in America, private enterprise is the answer, not more laws and government.
A quote from writer Jen Engel - " Liberty and democracy are not the same things.
Democracy means the majority decides what rules govern us. Liberty is the idea that we all have certain rights that cannot be taken away, not even by a majority. These are the “inalienable rights” of the Declaration of Independence, and when we give them up voluntarily, for whatever reason no matter how altruistic, what we find is all we have done is given more rights to the government that were intended for us.
Doing so makes us less safe, not more."
Especially in video games, which often mimic the wars we are in. No one ever talks about that violence though.
