Impossible to buy gun at Bass Pro Shop

It will always be a gun department and will always be staffed by a mix of people passing through and could give a shit, people that do, or a combination...Still people continue to shop there - even many who bitch about how much they suck...

That is the good thing about Bass Pro. You are tested on the department that you want to work. If you can't pass the test, then you're not allowed to work that area.

.22lr is not enough for yotes. Does the law state rimfire only? A .17HRM, not the M2, or a .22 mag will work. I can only use Rimfire or shotgun in S. NH also. I have a .17HMR and a .22 mag. The 20gr bullets are the way to go in .17, and CCI Maxi mags work great in .22 mag. Riley's charged me $200.00 for my Marlin 917V. I put a 6-18x42mmAO on it I had around. 100 yards is max for Yotes, I use head shots. 150+ yards for woodchucks. Trigger is pretty good on mine. Here is a link

Bullets are about $12.00 for Hornady 20gr ammo. I find it shoots them best. Good luck w/ your search.

I wouldn't do a rimfire for coyote. If you want to hunt at night, use the shotgun.
