I am listening to their 3rd quarter earnings report and they have mentioned it 3 times. They are planning to release their new "self defense" gun at the NRA Convention on April 13th.

I bet it is the Bodyguard 9. They have the Bodyguard 380 vs the Ruger LCP....and the Bodyguard 38 vs the Ruger LCR.......so maybe a Bodyguard 9 vs the LC9? That would be pretty cool.

That's a good guess. Probably a compact 9mm named the shield or something to that affect.

I agree and am hoping this is in fact what S&W has up their sleeves! A BG in 9mm would be pretty sweet.

Seriously though.....maybe since the .38/.380 is The Bodyguard, then the next step up is The Shield, in 9mm. Sounds silly to me.

Maybe it's a competitor to Crimson Traces LightGuard....the S&W Shield.
