Shootout and explosions in Paris...

Uh they effect wages when they undercut us and when they work 90 hours a week with out ot. I know painting isn't glamorous but yeah it affects you when your making 15.00 and 2 Mexicans make that combined under the table

The root of the problem is foreign policy and war that has created groups like ISIS as well as the refugee crisis.

Read more history. Read more about Islam and Arab beliefs and culture. Conflict with and conquest of infidels goes back many centuries. The cause you posit is far less the root of this problem than the Archduke assassination was the cause of WWI. It's simply an excuse used to justify their desired behaviors to the uninformed and weak-minded.

The crusades weren't even all bad. A lot of people righteously were reacting to the oppression and murder of people of whom they viewed as their Christian brothers and sisters. There were also power hungry political leaders manipulating people into filling their own pockets and acquiring power, as well as psychopaths enjoying the opportunity to commit atrocities -- on both sides. Nothing is black and white. If anything, it demonstrates one of the very central issues, which is the marrying of politics and religion. It's pretty much always a bad thing.

You're using that "You guys" quite loosely. There are plenty of us who know exactly what we've been dealing with for a long time.
Amen brother!!
I own a Quran and I have a big ass Bible from the late 1800's sitting on top of it. Now if the world would only wake up!!

Umm, interesting that you talk about facts. As you seem to have no understanding of the history of the Crusades... I mean, zero. Wow.

Ummmmmmmm the Pope started the crusades so that catholics would stop killing each other and picked a common enemy. And then the catholics just started raiding less catholic places but hey. Never ever let the facts get in the way of a good story huh?

Regarding cause and justification for this latest act of barbarism, way too many people are parroting the ISIS line that this attack was caused by attacks on ISIS in Syria.

So people who publicly slaughter innocent civilians on video in the sickest and most disgusting ways that they can think of are implicitly trusted to be honest and forthright when stating their heartfelt reasons for murdering even more innocent civilians? Seriously? Are they that simple minded when it comes to judging character?

Even if it were true, which it isn't, perhaps if they didn't so publicly sh1t in the face of human decency with their barbarism, maybe, just maybe, they wouldn't have incited others to counterattack them instead of giving them more aircraft full of innocent civilians to kill.

Obviously only a fraction of a percent of them do it but the slaughter of innocents is what Islam does.

Here's two weeks full of peace offered to us by Islam not including last nights barbarism:

Baghdad 11/13 - 21 killed by a suicide bomber

Lebanon 11/12 - 43 killed by suicide bombers

Chad 11/8 - 3 killed by suicide bombers

Iraq 11/7 - 11 killed by a suicide bomber and a roadside bomb

Iraq 11/6 - 8 killed by four separate bombing attacks

Lebanon 11/5 - 5 killed by a suicide bomber

Egypt 11/4 - 5 killed by a suicide bomber

Iraq 11/4 - 4 killed by a suicide bomber

Syria 11/4 - 2 killed by a suicide bomber

Iraq 11/3 - 4 killed by a suicide bomber

Iraq 11/2 - 2 killed by a suicide bomber

Syria 11/1 - 50 dead in two car bombings

Somalia 11/1 - 12 killed in a suicide attack

Egypt 10/31 - 224 people are killed by a bomb on an aircraft

And it goes on and on and on and on.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-...terror-attacks-part-piecemeal-third-world-war

Pope Francis said "war is madness," just over a year ago while condemning the idea of war in God's name, and today, in a succinct but notably unforgiving and emotional statement, Francis reiterated his previous warning that a "piecemeal" World War III has already begun and, as he previously stated, the international community would be justified in using force to stop what he called "unjust aggression" by Islamic State militants.
The Pope just gave the green light to nuke those muzzie basttards!

Even with all that went on last night...we still went to the theater in Boston.. I just packed a 3rd mag...better safe than sorry...maybe if a few of the people at the metal concert in Paris were carrying many less might have been shot.
a 5% carry rate in a large sample like the concert venue would have saved some if not many lives but that's the dirty little secret you wont hear from the gun free zonies. even if there were crossfire innocents/friendlies killed, it would be no different than cops coming in and doing the same.

I think the head is going to explode the next time someone else compares the current issues with Islam to crusades that happened 1000 years ago.

Brace yourself, you know it's coming.

If any of us actually responds to such posts, well, it's our fault. If you sit in a room and someone takes a dump on himself, and then you argue that it's wrong and he says "no, taking a dump on yourself is good for you", and if you argue again ? well, it's really your fault.

Go ahead folks, just take a dump on yourselves, in public.

Europe is going need to get into one of two businesses: prison or deportation, otherwise we wil see it gone in the next 50 years. I may be generous with the 50 years. The only hope is that Eastern Europe stops drinking the western Fool-Aid and unites against Western Europe and Russia, cuz gotta vaca somewhere.

We've been at war with muslims since the late 1700s. Look up where the phrase "the shores of Tripoli" came from.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Barbary_War

The muslims have been at war with someone or other (or even themselves) since their inception...they don't need any excuses to terrorize people. They seem to revel in barbarism.

What progressive liberals don't seem to be able to wrap their collective heads around is that the muslims have but one goal...world domination. Anyone or anything that stands in their way is taken out. The libs think that the west caused this. Sorry. Nope. This is the muslims doing the only thing they know how to do...take their quran and use it to cut the throats of every infidel.

No, though that is the way that you would like to believe it. The crusades were the result of the muzzie bastards attacking the Christians making a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.

Urban was responsible for the spiritual well-being of his flock and the crusade presented an opportunity for the sinful knights of western Europe to cease their endless in-fighting and exploitation of the weak (lay people and churchmen alike) and to make good their violent lives. Urban saw the campaign as a chance for knights to direct their energies towards what was seen as a spiritually meritorious act, namely the recovery of the holy city of Jerusalem from Islam (the Muslims had taken Jerusalem in 637). In return for this they would, in effect, be forgiven those sins they had confessed. This, in turn, would save them from the prospect of eternal damnation in the fires of Hell, a fate repeatedly emphasised by the Church as the consequence of a sinful life. To find out more see Marcus Bull, who reveals the religious context of the campaign in his 1997 article. - See more at: http://www.historytoday.com/jonathan-phillips/crusades-complete-history#sthash.PFflkhEv.dpuf

True, and the basic conflict goes back much further: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ishmael.

Periphery, and other Islamist apologists, are simply repeating Barry's message:
Governments that deny human rights play into the hands of extremists who claim that violence is the only way to achieve change. Efforts to counter violent extremism will only succeed if citizens can address legitimate grievances through the democratic process and express themselves through strong civil societies. Those efforts must be matched by economic, educational and entrepreneurial development so people have hope for a life of dignity.
It's a nine month old op-ed piece, but apropos to today. He's basically shifting the blame from the Islamic terrorists to governments and society in general. [puke]

They were pirates capturing our sailors and it was one small region. Asking those lines we've gone to war with the incas too. Unless you know a different hall of Montezuma
Repeat Price Is Right horn. "Halls of Montezuma" refers to the Battle of Chapultepec in the Mexican-American War. The Inca and Aztec Empires ceased to exist 2 centuries before the US and US Marine Corps were founded.

Total nonsense considering the causes of the modern day wars. If you're so delusional as to blame liberals for the problems, I can't help you. We launched two wars in recent years and it did nothing but make things worse and allow Isis to come into being. This isn't in dispute, but yeah some liberal is at fault. Hilarious.

You cannot seriously think this a new problem. You're The problem in this world. You're the one blaming modern politics. You have no clue.

SCENE: Interior, nondescript clinic exam room, patient in paper gown, doctor in starched white coat

Doctor: We've got all your test results back.

Patient: So what is it, Doc?

Doctor: Well, it seems that there is a radical group of deranged cells that have gotten into your bloodstream.

Patient: How far has it spread?

Doctor: Well, there seem to be substantial collections of these diseased cells in all the major organs of your body.

Patient: What can you do about it?

Doctor: Well, we have to spread them out so the effect isn't concentrated in a single area, We're going to transport them to organs that haven't been affected yet.

Patient: Can it be eliminated?

Doctor: Well, our current treatment strategy has them on the run. This isn't a top tier disease, it's more like the JV team of diseases.

Patient: So this is cancer, right?

Doctor: Well, we don't call it cancer, because that might offend pre-cancerous cells. We call it Interstitial Somatic Invasion Syndrome, also known as... well you can do the acronym yourself.

Patient: Can we at least use some potent chemotherapy to combat it?

Doctor: No, that might damage some of the healthy tissue, can't risk that.

Patient: So what's the prognosis?

Doctor: You're gonna die. The good news though is that we've lined up James Taylor to sing at your funeral.

Patient (weakly): Yay!

Wow, look what they are carrying. WTF.

Waher identified the specific mini-14 rifle: Mousqueton A.M.D.— France's Mini-14

found this link about them: http://www.shootingillustrated.com/articles/2015/1/9/the-mousqueton-amd-frances-mini-14/

from the article (where are the G36's?)
These export Mini-14s served through 30 years of often-troubled French domestic history, and only began to be replaced by the Heckler & Koch G36 rifle in 2008. Today, the collecting public in France can own the Mousqueton A.M.D., but only as an Arme Neutralisée—or deactivated weapon.
