There's something to be said for the element of surprise.

Yes there is. And if you're in a self defense situation, you have already lost the element of surprise. That is OC/CC neutral.

Basically, some operator dude saying he carries either 1 or 2 snap caps for when the bad guy takes his gun. There was a thread on NES about him.

Maybe the same guy working at The Gun Parlor selling high cap mags to military.

It was a YouTube video and the guy called himself Joe Tactical...opened the video with “Joe Tactical here...” and then explained why he has two snap caps in his mags.

There is still a Joe Tactical channel on YouTube but the snap caps video is gone...not sure if it’s the same guy.
