The problem is when they can't corroborate it, they'll still report it as fact.
 
Has anyone read or heard why Ford and her husband entered into relationship counseling in 2012? I don't buy it that it happened because Kavanaugh's name was brought up as a SCOTUS nominee 6 years ago (was it?). Obviously, something had to be going on their marriage that prompted counseling. We still don't know if she intends to appear tomorrow. Maybe it's because Ford is actually bat shit crazy, which is confirmation why this has turned into a circus.

Man, would I love to get a hold of a recording or transcript of those counceling meetings......it would very likely put an abrupt end to all of thos nonsense.

There's no "maybe" about her being bat shit crazy...its just a matter of confirming it in writing or by her testimony that should eventually lead her to being arrested and charged with perjury.

Same here. When thinking back to my alcohol fueled teen times the details are quite clear:

Puking tequilla in my jacket pocket in back of Mooneys dads car...

Falling down the service stairs backwards at Nectars...

Getting raped by a stripper from Vinnies Hot Spot under the Colchester bridge at a keg party...

Almost getting my ass kicked by frat boys at Kappa Sig for stealing light bulbs...

Getting chased thru the woods behind BHS after taunting some seniors...

Punched in the head at Northgate during an illicit transaction gone arwy...

Having ex girls old boyfriend play hero and bust down my door on Pearl st to kick my ass when she was not there...

The minor details to all of my traumatic teen memories are clear as day. Either she is full of shit or I am special. Personally I think she is full of it...

You remember traumatic experiences in great detail. This is how the human mind works. I have heard from women that have been raped or assaulted and they remember every damn detail like the color of the carpet the smell of the cologne, etc. Its like time slows down.

I don't remember what I ate for lunch yesterday, but I can tell some pretty detailed stories of antics in HS and College 20+ years ago in great detail.

Its just not credible.
 
the ONLY thing i have heard in all this that might ring true, is that Kavanaugh is a "bad drunk", as told by his college freshman roommate.

We used to pledge kids at a fraternity, and we made SURE to get them good and drunk (this was back in the day when it was legal) to see if they were "happy" drunks, or "mean" drunks. About 1/4 of the kids turned pretty mean when shit faced, and we weeded them out

It doesn't corroborate that the alleged assault happened it only corroborates that she told them about it.
