Globe hit piece on Maura Healey

As someone who worked in animal research/preclinical trials before doing IT, I have to agree with her on this part. It's not as bad out here, but the animal rights/PETA/ALF/ELF(and yes, they are linked) out in Cali and merry old England are F#CK3D up. Blowing up buildings, attacking people with ax handles etc.

Mass is the leader in animal research, also one of the leader in restrictions on pets, no different on from other libtard hypocrisies.

Mass is the leader, but animal research is also heavily regulated(I was in it for 16 years) too. Especially n Cambridge which has it's own commissioner. And anything larger than a rat the USDA has their nose in it as well.

It isn’t a surprise that the Globe is critical of Healey in this regard. The Globe still does significant investigative reporting, which often depends upon FOIA. Since Healey is not doing her job on FOIA, it is very appropriate that the Globe is critical of her.
Nothing could please me more than for the glob to chew her up and spit her out.

It doesn’t mean that I’ll ever being buying their bird cage lining rag.

As much as I disagree with the Globe’s editorial views, it does sometimes do a major service to the community. Most recently, the Globe exposed Bryon Hefner’s sexual assaults on Beacon Hill, and Stan Rosenberg’s failure to implement his promised “firewall”, resulting in the end of Rosenberg’s career and criminal charges against Hefner.

Soros and company are throwing some serious money behind Josh Zakim (Lenny Zakim's kid) for MA Secretary of State against Bill Galvin. I think Healey is siding with them over Galvin and Bill maybe is fighting back along with some of the local establishment. For those of you that don't remember or know about Leonard Zakim (died of cancer in the late 1990s, he was best known as a 'civil rights activist' active with the Anti-Defamation League. But was really tight with Dukakis, Tip O'Neil, Harsbarger, Bulger, the Kennedys, etc. as a money bundler & launderer. Sleazy lawyer making everything legal and clean for the machine politicians while hiding behind a mask of a do-gooding crusader.

Josh Zakim and Michelle Wu on the Boston City Council both were elected with a metric ton of out of state money. Nice little puppets for the masters of the universe in NYC, Chicago, DC, and LA.

I imagine the more local shot callers aren't happy with out of staters treading on their turf and are backing Galvin.

There was a time when the AG was the state's attorney. That is, their job was to represent the state in legal disputes (e.g., a state vendor did not perform on a contract, etc.). Instead, AG's in many states have turned their office into a one-person legislature, single-handedly enacting laws through regulation or threat of lawsuits. I don't think it matters much whether the AG is liberal or conservative if they are behaving this way. No matter their political bent, this type of behavior subverts the constitutional purpose of the office and usurps the legislature's power. I wish the legislature would enact legislation to drastically reduce the AG's power.

It looks like they hid all of the comments?

Never mind. Tried a different browser and turned off the ad blocker.

‘Lane just opened up’ for Maura Healey

‘Lane just opened up’ for Maura Healey

Attorney General Maura Healey lost a key political ally in former New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman when he resigned amid a sex scandal yesterday, but it could be an opportunity for her to step more into the national spotlight, experts said.

“Healey was sharing the spotlight with Schneiderman on a lot of these lawsuits and going after the Trump administration, now she’s the only attorney general left standing,” said Rob Gray, a Republican political strategist. “The spotlight is all hers.”

... and with a spotlight come glimpse of her own skeleton closet, which, rumor has it, has some juicy tid bits.

Ok Maura , let's see how much this state has spent on your bullshit lawsuits against Exxon/Mobil and others for your personal crusades.
Freedom of information and all. Open the books.

lol, good luck with that FOIA, even Faker and Beacon Hill are well protected from those leaks.

The major problem is that the AG is out promoting herself at the expense of the taxpayers with what could be considered frivolous lawsuits based on national issues. She has filed more suits against Trump than any other AG, only because Democrat state AGs decided that they would try to block Trump on anything and everything because they made it their job to oppose him every step of the way. In addition, she is a total hypocrite when she states, “I don’t wake up every day wishing to sue the president of the United States,” she insists. “When you have a president and an administration who are doing things that are basically unconstitutional or illegal, somebody has to be there. If the AGs don’t sue, who else is going to prevent the abuse?” [Bold font mine]

So, she's promoted herself as the savior to "basically unconstitutional or illegal" acts committed by the administration, which is based on her own opinion or interpretation of the US laws, when in fact, she should just be focusing on MA law. However, even when focusing on MA law, she made up new a law acting as a legislator and/or interpreted existing laws on July 20, 2016 to ban AR15s. Her actions just reek of hypocrisy and who is there to prevent her abuse?

This is interesting, do you think that Soros et al. are doing this stuff because compared to a lot of other places, MA actually has relatively inefficient
socialism/BS? (MA is pretty obnoxious, but it seems that, on the edges, they can't quite force it to go full retard...)

The question of the day of course is, will anyone actually care? You're forgetting this is MA.

This state legislators just voted itself a pay raise... I don't see anyone at risk of getting kicked out of office for it...

Soros has made it a priority to take over the Secretary of State offices in every state he can. I get the feeling Bill Galvin, being a long time officer holder, told Soros' team of minders trying to force Bill to become a puppet to f*** off. I think Soros wants control of even deep blue states' SoS is order to have complete control of the ballot box, IDs, info, etc. so that the DNC won't be a partner or a client but HIS trained dog. Soros is like Putin in that entities think they are his partners or allies, when they are really a protectorate under a velvet clad iron fist.

The Globe did not mention the incident when Healey declared AR-15's illegal, and GOAL (or was it Comm2A?) asked for a freedom of information release of the AG's deliberations on that pronoun cement, and Healey flat out refused , saying that it was a secret because it was a lawsuit in progress or some such flat out bullshit lie. She has zero respect for the actual rule of law, she should be fired.
