So when do CT legislators start dying of car bombs and GSWs?
This BS isn't going to stop. Might as well make them pay for it.
Better to use knives and fires. Show them you don't need a gun to make them pay and teach them they aren't safe at home.

The bolded statement effectively bans all ARs and a lot of other rifles, even if you ignore everything else.
Also bans any COMBINATION in your possession that could possibly create one. So basically you can't own two of anything like an AR.
I just died a little inside.

FYI....
Apparently this may NOT be the bill...
There is a lot going on on the CCDL Facebook page... I'll try to keep this thread updated as well.
Sorry if this isn't the bill...
That bans glocks too as the G18 is full auto. Also there is a full auto Berretta 92 as well. They could twist it to apply to the M1 carbine as the M3 is the FA variant. They could also use it to ban the M1A as it is a direct copy of the FA M14 without the FA part.
That bill is a giant ball of shit.
I'm so done with this state.
I searched the bill text for "carbine" and saw no mention of the M1 carbine. The specifically mention the Iver Johnson "Enforcer" model being banned but that is it.Solo, I think the M1 Carbine would fall under the pre-ban exemption, no?
Also, apparently, the legislators don't even have a copy of this bill yet. And they're set to vote on it tomorrow.
F*ck CT.
Section 1. Section 53-202a of the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2013):
and on that note... if anyone wants to move to CT, im selling my place!

What does it matter if the magazine extends beyond the grip if you still cannot load more than ten rounds. More BS about things that look scary!!
