Boston globe Mill article

So IDing people based off self identification on a forum is good enough for publication in a major news paper? I hope not.
I know you're younger than me but man journalism has been a joke for the last 30 years. Nothing should surprise you at this point.

The only reason CNN and MSNBC are still on the air is because they get a small monthly payment from every single cable and satellite subscriber nation wide. Not to mention the Department of Education pumps in CNN to schools. If it was a pay service, CNN has already proven they can't make it without the subsidies.

Anybody not using their real name as an NES screen name is hiding who they are :)
call signs aren't necessarily hiding who you are...

ex. I'm no John Smith, but a quick search of my name turns up a handful of us around the country. Arguably, this 'nym is significantly less discrete.

you folks start digging what the soviet way of life was. anyone can be arrested any moment, for no reason at all, anytime anywhere.
so, to hide, or to not hide - makes no practical difference, once socialists get a solid grab on the reigns and start riding you all into a happiest future of them all, nevermind the sacrifices.

Well, admittedly DEMSNBC is moonbat central, and moonbats, as much as we hate them are statistically significant, but even that, like as an outlet, is dying. I have moonbat customers and most of them do not have TV or even demsnbc blaring in thier houses. "TV Nooz" is turning into old people medium, at best.

Crescent News Network though.... I dont understand how those f***ers stay in business. [rofl] their bias is more than just moonbat, its just retarded. Their demo is not just moonbat, but "dumb".

I do think anyone participating in an expensive hobby (firearms, coin collecting, high end photography, even baseball card collecting) should be somewhat circumspect in identify themselves on a public forum. It's one thing if you are running a gun shop, where it's obvious who you are and that you have valuable inventory, but different if it's just a hobby. As a hobbyist you can afford to be more discrete, and it's to you advantage to be so. A long time ago a neighbor of mine was a little loose in protecting his identity as a coin collector and as a result had his entire collection ripped off. They were obviously after his collection, since nothing else was disturbed. He also worked from home, so they had to stake out his house for awhile to hit it when he wasn't there. It doesn't protect you from the government, particularly here in MA where they know you have an LTC and therefore probably have guns. But that's no reason to make it easy for the crooks.

Trying to get a coworker to visit the mill. He wasn't a firearm person until covid came around. He would always call another coworker and myself crazy gun guys. Well, he finally had gotten his license and bought a EZ 9 and then said thats all he needs. Next he bought the MP 15-22 and started bringing his daughter out to shoot. Again, he wasn't going to buy any more. His recent purchase was a shotgun (can't remember what) and now he wants to get an M1A Socom. I showed him 4 m1a's that were in the dealer classifieds. It's funny cause once he got bit, he got bit hard. We told him to buy a big safe after he bought his first firearm and he said he wouldn't need it. Now he tells us he should have listened.

Ya know.. Ever since I changed my username I sense a bit of hostility from you. This is not ok and this is bringing back emotions that took me years to suppress.

Contain yourself.

Might just change my name to " Brok Lee" out of spite.

Jesus.

Can we stop changing names? Or at least stop changing avatars if we MUST change names?
I've been trying to think of a new one but can't think of anything more clever than slamming my head on the keyboard...

Wait, what were you before?
