Boston globe Mill article

Think about this.
In most gun shops, they won't let me touch a gun to even look at it, unless I have a license. That means anyone touching a gun in such places has been background checked by the feds. Since Massachusetts is a "may issue state", the police chief does his own background check. If you hang around with the wrong people, have had too many visits from the local Po Po, or have even been suspected of doing anything questionable, the chief will not issue the permit. In the past, I know some chiefs who wouldn't issue to minorities, women, and even LGBT people. That means the visitors to the mill, or any gun shop are a safer, higher quality people than the Karens who are up in arms, and screaming bloody murder. Any sex offender, drug addict / dealer, criminal, child molester can waltz into any day care center, Y, school, church or preschool without any checks. So why are they upset?

That's irrelevant to their feelings. Logic will never play into this debate. Which is why it's so important to USSC ram this MF down their throats. STFU, Karen! My gosh. Irrelevant women worring about something to make themselves feel important. Go run a Brownie troop or something. Annoy some refs at a 8U soccer game, maybe.

CBS 'report' from the meeting.

That one "almost crying" woman needs to be taken out and explained how wrong she really is. I mean, let's be nice and explain how nothing she said is factually true in the least. And if she still doesn't get it, deport her for chronic stupidity. Gosh she was clueless. I bet she found out at 3pm and decided, "this is my time. I'm gonna be famous!"

I think in order to speak you needed to be a citizen of the town or a busniess owner, which would explain why there weren't many to speak up.
I only watched some of the video but at one point a Karen asked about the address of someone who spoke before at some point in the meeting and if they needed to be a resident of Littleton and someone on the board said it was open to everyone.

This was after a groomer came up

Weird how they suddenly are concerned about who is a citizen (resident)

I wish someone had pointed out how the 57 fast food restaurants and convenience stores all selling low quality high calorie foods in Littleton are contributing to the obesity epidemic in the US and especially Littleton, and how there really should be a way to limit the number of convince stores to protect the children.

Or talked about how the mill already has dance studios and artists’ studios and the other things they want to put there.

Or how nobody seems to care about the four professional dominatrixes with full dungeons, or the six BDSM toy manufacturers. Three of the four photography studios at the mill advertise they’ll do erotic private sessions, and one doesn’t hide that they make porn.

Hell, there are two licensed distilleries in the mill, also inspected by the state and the ATF, but nobody is complaining about the danger of sex crimes or drunk driving or child abuse even though there’s also a daycare in the mill!

Why? Because nobody told them. These businesses are complete non-issues, because nobody even notices. They only care about the one industry that had an article written about it that worked them into a hysterical group-think frenzy.

Or maybe I made those business up out of whole cloth. Who can tell?
You had me dominatrixes….

If it was 80 liquor stores or 80 pot shops. no one would give a f*** but because guns. Disgusting.
Considering the fights everyone puts over a single pot shop, especially near schools, etc., they absolutely would. Because they're all authoritarian, puritanical NIMBYs. Even the ones that support liberalized MJ laws want it on the other side of town; or better still, in the next town.

f***ing hypocrites all of them. How the hell did people get so f***ing soft.

Probably not a bad look for some slovenly nutjob leftist with a trans kids shirt spouting off and getting eyerolls from the gen public as opposed to real hardline 2A talk being the focus

Add to that the several passive-aggressive threats pointed towards the town staff being made by the moonbows.

To the lady who mentioned that she just wanted a coffee shop in town...have any of the FFL's thought about putting in an espresso machine or a coffee pot?

I will say it was entertaining to watch live. It was like a compilation of the unhinged.

I also think that the person from Battle Road did a good job. He was well spoken and came off well.

I always hate this logic.
We need blank business in town
Okay well put your money up and make it happen

Well silence on our side, might confirm the oppositions bias? We needed someone to shut down the Karen’s.

Objectively though they sounded pretty stupid like they weren’t actually able to pinpoint something rational as a problem so they all spoken very vague terms, or generic anti rhetoric and kind of buried themselves. “ It’s bad cuz we don’t like guns”. And then there’s cruel sense of irony that lady more or less admitted that she never knew they were gun dealers in the building despite bringing her kid there for however many years… but now suddenly because the globe wrote something “it’s now a problem “. I got the distinct impression that the board was more annoyed with these people than anything else…. If they “decide to do anything” it’s not because they hate guns but because they don’t wanna listen to karens anymore.

True. But have you ever met a deranged, lefty, anti-2A Karen from moonbatty Massachusetts who was open to changing her mind on the topic of Ga Ga Ga Guns?

I’ve read online debates about firearms for about 45 years now (no exaggeration). In that time, I doubt a single person has changed their mind as a result.

I listened to the first half hour of the hearing/venting. From that, I can tell you that’s not true; there was a massive controversy in Littleton about pot shops and the number of liquor stores is already severely restricted.

The pot shop is down the road on 110 in Ayer. I have no idea if they have one in Littleton but they do have a few liquor serving establishments within half a mile including package stores.
The Karen's do need their wine and booze close by.

They don't think they have to present reasons. To them, their position is so self-evidently obvious that they never imagine they'd ever need to defend it to anyone.

If i had the time I had thought about getting a beverage cart setup with coffee, juice fresh muffins etc to supply to visitors and tenants like 3 days a week or something. Manufacturing time is difficult though.

I was there when that happened but didnt wanna mention it until someone involved did. It was pretty funny watching word of the incident spread while I did paperwork. Big mistake thinking the gruff (but very nice) guys in Ma**h*** firearms would allow their soy boy cameraman and clown makeup reporter anywhere near the vicinity.
The big concern seemed to be them harassing and questioning customers as they were leaving. Scumbags!

Too much excitement out east for my bumpkin self but it was quite a thrill
Well, I don't need porn this week! I would have paid a lot of money to see them escorted out. Guess I'll just have to spend it at the Mill instead!

She needs a week in a cheap motel with a good man.

Get rid of the FFL's and turn the mill into low income housing for illegal immigrants. Then talk to me about being afraid to send your kid for music lessons...
I wouldn't mind putting some migrants in there. Collecting the rent from the guy who runs it is like pulling teeth. Jack.

We had a live link here:

But appears it may take a bit to get added to the previous tab

I got thru the 1st 3 moonbats before I gave up.. 1st lady I think was reasonable.. is it legal..

2nd' lady was almost in tears.. OMG.. 3rd was a guy.. 1.5 miles from 4 schools.. . dude.. know how far a MILE is.. definitely not "right next door"... then I had enough.. [puke]

Don't forget about the weapons of war Lady. I mean, there is a weapons of war shop in the mill, I saw a nice looking garand there a few months back, but I don't think that's what she meant.
