Windham Weaponry is closing

This is the best part of Carson City.
Windham is much better.
My best part was the slutty Hampton Inn single-mom CSR who was working hard getting transient crews to give her a few extra dollars for a tour around town after her shift ended. And then a drive 30 minutes north to the forgotten casinos of Reno.

A few years ago we were on vacation up that way and I had to get a tooth pulled nearby. I stopped in and asked for a tour through a mouth full of cotton etc. They talked really slow like I was an obomma voter and sent me packing.

Not sure if this is true, but it would be nice.

Their website is on with the black Friday's deal. Did they change their mind?

I think they got bought out during the auction. Not sure of all the details but I believe that's what I read.

I hope someone bought them and they keep the same quality as before. Their uppers were great, ordered several in the past for builds and they run great!

The name and client list was a separate auction that someone got hold of. No idea what the intent is, but its all the marketing components.

It's good to see. i buy my small parts from them.

Does anyone know if their railed gas block will fit under/in front of a magpul rifle handguard?

In front of, sure. Their Picatinny block would retain a handguard cap the same way a front sight base would. Under a handguard? I'd think no, the rail is at the same height as the upper's rail and would be trying to occupy the same space as the top of the handguard. They list a low profile block for under handguard use.

I had one of these several years ago if you're looking for something with a folding site. they make several versions.

but kmm696 is right. windham's should work. I'd call them. they are great to work with.

Got an email today looks like Windham Weaponry is back in business! Not sure if someone bought them or what but they stated they will be honoring
Warranties for the older rifles as well.
I am happy to hear they will still be around.

So I just tried to order a complete rifle kit less the lower and the website won't let me check out because there are no shipping options available. Odd? Or is this part of the shipping issues from carriers considering parts as whole firearms?

So, id need more ownership details before I am a believer.... Own 2 AR's love them...But want to see what the new management structure is first before I'm a believer that they are back in the game......not seeing any of that yet.

Windham was good quality, mid tier stuff at reasonable pricing. If they come back at the same level I'd like to get a stripped upper/lower set from them.
