The new ones are shipping w tapped receiver and a nice machined pic rail along w the usual 10lb steel scope rings. The sweet pic rail solves most of the optics mounting issues plaguing the mini-14 for years.

Beretta 92 is great to use to clean your b*tthole, but maybe not so good if you want to down a rabid home invader.

Beretta 92's are like the band Rush, Miracle Whip, and Volkswagon. You either like it or you don't.
