A petitioners' warrant article is teed up for Annual Town Meeting in Wayland, MA in late April. It is squarely aimed at LTC holders by prohibiting carry access to buildings on town property and to any town sponsored events on town property. It uses some of the language from MGL 269 Sect 10(j) which prohibits carry on school grounds / buildings.
The Wayland Finance Committee will review this article at their Thursday March 7 meeting and possibly vote as to recommend passage or not. In Wayland the FinCom is responsible for writing an analysis of articles to be placed in the Warrant.
