i would say a 1903 springfield, but raelisticly it would probibly be something more like a super-soaker

If were to be a gun, id def think it would have been developed in springfield armory, and would have to be the m1 garand, as the 1903 copied the mauser action, and the garand was leaps and bounds beyond any rifle of its time in the 30's.
