Should citizen militias prep for post-election mayhem?

This isn’t an EOTWAWKI Zombie Apocalypse event we’re preparing for. It’s civil war. Plenty of examples in the last 50 years of what civil war in modern times looks like and how it might play out here in the US.

I already did my military service, I’m not enlisting in a Union or Confed army again if this really kicks off in November. First priority will be protecting my family, but make no mistake, I know I’m behind enemy lines. I’ll be following a real simple rule: Don’t start nothing and there won’t be nothing... but I know Marxists can’t or won’t follow that so act accordingly.

What I am sure you would see is more instances of what we have already seen elsewhere with small groups of neighbors getting together in posting armed security teams and roadblocks to keep shitbirds out of their neighborhoods.

But beyond that a militia in the sense and structure of 1776? I do not see that happening in this region if for no other reason than to ask who would man it?

Are organizers going to march down to the local state college campus and say, "Come on all you able-bodied young men stop FaceTwitterSnapChatting, put down those smartphones and join us in battling the marxists, you probably know some of them from your gender studies class."

If push came to shove and the S really did HTF then I would walk away from my comfy life and go live somewhere else watching the savages burn down cities all for nothing. So that's my plan. The problem now is, and I think will continue, there still is force of law. It's just not being applied evenly. Anyone who defends themselves against the mob is going to find themselves on the wrong end of Johnny Lawdog. Some cops are going to show up, even in end times. The problem is, they are being told to let one crowd run rampant on everyone else while prosecuting everyone else for defending themselves. That has to change. So that means no need for a militia. I'm not going to leave my home, family and friends behind to go hide in the woods looking for enemy antifa combatants. Antifa won't ever do this. They do not have the will to do battle with the rest of the country. For the most part they stop just short of outright insurrection and instead find one-off circumstances to go after. That means that running away is far more valuable as a skill than speed dialing a militia at that moment.

There will be traps set and antifa will race into a lose/lose situation. Then it is back to their basements to play video games.
