This thread needs an update. Last weekend we hooked up to a giant bluefin. Taped out at close to 100" and dressed at 400 pounds. What a wild fight and people don't lie when they say the last minutes when you've got the fish at the boat is when you can lose it. Here's the fellow getting loaded up:

Came in on an 80. I would have been spooled in a heartbeat on one of my Stellas with the way my fish fought. 2+ hours into the fight and the fish was still green as can be.
