When is raccoon season?

It's open now, Oct 1 through Feb 28. No desire to shoot them, not going to eat them or use the pelts.

I could invite hunters in but don't want to contend with their loud barking dogs running everything else off, or the liability or security issues. For as much as they might eat, they get a reprieve from me.

I do have neighbors with chickens and ducks so if they venture out to their areas they'll probably be shot.
