Rise in antisemitism points at absolute need for self defense

At this point I'm 100% convinced at a bare minimum on the federal level, it doesn't matter anymore.
Anything above the local level, township/village/county, is lost and that very same local level is getting weaker at breakneck speed. I'm not about the fear-doom porn, although I do like it a bit, but there will be more truth than anything to the phrase of 'no voting our way out of this.'

As a teenager, when you are surrounded by all Dems and have no knowledge of politics, it is only natural to follow your Parents and register as a Dem. I have always voted for either the best person (IMNSHO) or the least evil (especially in recent years) person for the job. After a couple of very strange happenings, in 1970 my Wife and I changed our registration to Independent/Unenrolled, and never looked back. Personally, I don't like either party and firmly believe that all politicians are in it strictly to benefit themselves.
Exactly right. My father was union man, mother a teacher, both solid blue. I grew up blue and voted blue right up until I started thinking for myself and seeing things differently. My registration is also independent but won't ever vote blue.
As a conservative I despise democrats but the GOP isn't far behind

Well, the democrat mayor of Bridgeport Connecticut "won" by a couple hundred votes lol

Yeah. Same thing happened in Hartford one mayoral or gubernatorial election and New Haven one other time when they miraculously discovered a bunch of ballots in someone's trunk, which, to the shock of nobody, were all for whoever the Dem candidate was. That was an eye-opening experience for me and really soured me on the election process.

So @sigguy05, if Trump is the Republican nominee will you vote for him? Will you vote against whoever runs against Liz Warren, Ed Markey, Maura Healey? Becca Rausch?

Are humans responsible for climate change? Should we be taxing carbon emissions? Did you get all the vaxxes & boosters and did you give shit to people who chose not to? How about masks, were they effective? Did Fauci get it right or did he get it wrong?

<edit> Do black lives matter? Should "gender affirming" care be given to minors?

Honestly, your demeanor suggests that not only have you been wrong all these years but you have been wrong & strong too.

Many of your questions absolutely do not have a black and white answer, nor should they. The beauty of science is that it is ever changing, and does not lend itself nor care about one’s preconceived notions of what science SHOULD be, or how it mingles with politics ( which is also the great thing about politics).
What I will say is that in terms of 2A, I’m much more on board than I ever have been.

In other words, you won't be voting red going forward. Got it.

Someone else alluded to it, but you should buy some training instead of another gun.
He says that he served in the IDF. Given that, I suspect that he had a helluva lot better training than any NRA course (and I'm an NRA Instructor).

I LOVE a good Jewish deli!!!

:)
So do I. @richc are there any good Jewish delis left in your area? I occasionally get down that way for medical appointments.

Smart enough to know I don’t have to. They’re bad questions that shouldn’t align someone to a particular party nor define anyone by those said standards.
You're wrong and you keep giving several reasons why you shouldn't be trusted on NES. Keep on being you we need to see who the enemies are.
