Rise in antisemitism points at absolute need for self defense

I mean I'm happy you're making a change dont get me wrong but its bittersweet.
By the sounds of it you didnt think others had the right to defend their communities and family but once you felt the heat personally you shifted gears
MOST folks simply aren’t engaged politically like your average NES’er. Who cares what brought him to the light, all that matters is he’s seen it and he’s on team constitution now. It’s a win, no need drive him away now Because of his join in date. I wasn’t born a conservative either.

Lol you have no idea who I am so you should sit down and shut up real f***in fast guy. I served in the IDF and have had my license since 2011.

What the f*** did you just f***ing say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the f*** out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my f***ing words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, f***er. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're f***ing dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your f***ing tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You're f***ing dead, kiddo.

Also, welcome to the party, pal. The way I see it you deserve some rubbing. If you drop the tough guy act we'll get along just fine. Where do you live? If you were voting blue in a place like Brookline then you're just pissing in an ocean of piss and your vote doesn't matter anyways.

Watch out for this guy.

Better to not ever have supported socialism.

Thanks a lot for a lifetime of votes against the constitution anyway.
I don't think he voted left out of malice. The democrats have a firm grip on their supporters.

Oldie but goodie. I forget What was that from?

@sigguy05 No problem about transforming your politics. The best thing you can do moving forward is spread the word like wildfire about democrats screwing over the Jewish community and convincing them to vote conservative from now on. Being in the Jewish Newton community, I'm sure it'll be a wild uphill battle, but get the word out there and get them thinking right. It shouldn't have to come down to the immediate safety of Jewish people being jeopardized. I do the same thing in the Indian community (especially among "half-Indian" Kamala Harris supporters). If politics is ever brought up, I make sure they're on the right side of things.

Not directly on topic, but I thought it an interesting commentary. He's 100% correct.

I’m Jewish.

Bought another gun yesterday.

Absolutely no regrets.

In these scary times, I’m blessed to be able to conceal carry. Especially with the insane spike in antisemitism worldwide.

Israel strong 🇮🇱 💪🏻 USA strong 🇺🇸 💪🏻 Judaism strong ✡️ 💪🏻 Democracy strong
You don’t have to be Jewish to buy another gun. In fact everyone should.

Go figure - when presented with new, alarming antisemitism and information regarding that, opinions on the subject change.
Shalom/Welcome, sadly antisemitism in the US is nothing new. As a kid in the mid-1950s, our house was next to an Orthodox Synagogue. Came the High Holidays, someone smeared the front of our house and the Synagogue with shit. Quincy PD didn't care. Early 1960s in Randolph (which was probably 30-40% Jewish back then), our English teacher purposely scheduled a test (no make-up allowed) on Yom Kippur, principal didn't care. Senior year, our class advisor took a poll on how many people would take the senior trip to NYC on the High Holidays and canceled the trip because he said not enough people were interested. Late 1970s, I joined the police department in another suburban town. lots of antisemitism within the PD. Nazi swastikas painted on the school (early 1980s). Janitor called in overnight to scrub it down and never a public mention of what happened. This was in a town that was 40-50% Jewish.

I have a close friend in Newton and I've never been able to get her to even think about learning how to shoot..

In 1989, the National Shomrim Society organized a trip to Israel for 185 of us as guests of the IDF and Israeli Police. I couldn't get them to even show us their range never mind shooting their toys. In 2000, my Wife and I spent our last day in Israel (after attending a wedding in Jerusalem and touring the country for 2 weeks) with an Israeli friend (a manager at Microsoft-Israel). She served in the IDF but had no interest in firearms. I've been Emailing her and she feels that she and her Daughter are "safe" living in central Israel. I hope that she is right, but I think that she is naive.

Sadly, your R vote in Newton will be totally irrelevant.

Thanks for the message - central Israel is for the most part safe yea, the new iron dome system and the USA’s presence is greatly halting Hezbollah and threats from the West Bank. There will always be threats but we’re seeing less of a push from Lebanon now, just sporadic nonsense. Was hilarious to see the Yemens try to shoot a missile over the other week.
Israel is incredibly strong and we have some of the best trained spec ops guys ever. Point blank. End of story. We will be ok.
I wish I was in Israel with my reserve friends right now defending the north.
I oddly feel less safe here than I ever have in Israel.

So you are Jewish and I'm Catholic. We are both Americans. Those crazy jihadis hate us equally. Suicide bombers don't discriminate. If we are both in the targeted crowd, we will both be quite dead. The only difference is that you would receive a traditional Jewish funeral and I would receive a traditional Roman Catholic one.
This^^
I'm shocked how many of my fellow catholics vote blue when the core of democrats policies go against the most important dogmas of our faith.

Welcome @sigguy05

I didn't know you grew up in Quincy. About a half generation ahead of me?

The Point or School Street?

We only lived in Quincy Point for ~2.5 yrs. It was a lot worse than my brief info above. The good news was that we had great Italian (off-the-boat) tenants and I learned my love for good Italian food and fresh vegetables (the man "farmed" every square inch that wasn't occupied by the house) during those short years . . . pull it up out of the ground or off the vine and eat it, unsure if I washed the DDT off it first!
