Did he sneak that provision into his budget as well? I knew he wanted to pass a bill that illegals would get a reduced rate but I wasn't aware that he had or that it passed.
Don't be shocked if you don't get a chance to ask him a question. I suspect most questions and the ones who will actually get a chance to question him have already been vetted. I could be wrong.

If I thought for one minute the the money would be used properly and would indeed benefit those who truley need it, then I would be so inclined to eat it and shut up.
We all have to cut back, why should we allow the legislature to spend and tax at will.

Maybe repealing the state income tax may seem like a futile effort, but it sends a message. They need to know their jobs are in jeopardy. This should include all public employees. Maybe they'll do a better job.

Oh yea, by the way, it's never short term.

The answer to that is a big fat NOTHING. He is an abomination of a governor. The one good proposal he had, the casino bill, he put absolutely no effort into. In the 1.5 years he's been in office he's kept a total of zero of his election promises. He did at least propose the casino bill, but the dumbass decided that instead of fight what may have very well been a losing battle where he would at least gain some respect, he would instead travel to New York on tax payer dollars, to make a personal book deal for himself. How much of the money from his book deal do you think went toward this new budget? I'm betting none.

There were a handfull of good candidates from both parties in the last election and imo we proved to the nation how low our standards are in MA by electing the worst one. I'm pretty sure the janitor in the state house could do a better job leading the state than Deval has done.

During his run, a neighbor had him over and invited the neighborhood to meet him. (I didn't go, I was just voting anti-Reilly at the time.) I think they were in college together. If they do that again then I'd ask the following question.

"I do not understand the purpose of the purchase limits on firearms (proposed limit of 2 a month) and why it would help the government identify 'straw' purchasers.

In addition to the background check and fingerprints you have on file for me when I applied for a permit, an additional check and fingerprint is taken AT EVERY PURCHASE. Also, why don't we make welfare more strict? I know a lot of illegals collect welfare or ssi. It's ridiculous.
