You don’t need pets to love you back for you to love and appreciate them. You respect them for what they are and accept that loving you isn’t in their nature. That said, there are some owners that eventually start to think their exotic pet cobra, anaconda, chimp, tiger, etc “loves them” then gets their ass eaten over their dumb shit. You can have these animals as pets but you’ve got only yourself to blame when they eventually kill you.People are funny about reptiles , snakes in particular.
