There are more of us out there than we think! I got to talking with my barber and the topic of guns came up. Lately I avoid this conversation like the plague as I live in Ma. When he ever pulled his carry gun and started talking about loving the range I couldn't have smiled more. People love their guns and their rights!

I was at a barber in cali and he had 1911s in the drawers. I know my barber back home also carries.

Clerk at Walmart today saw my ltc class a and asked what the difference between that and fid I was. I told him about conceal carry. He asked if I was carrying then. I didn't answer, he then became convinced I am an "undercover".

you mean you didn't have your ccw sash clearly displayed?

A coworker of mine who lives in NH recently came back from a business trip to GA and told me he saw someone OCing at restaurant down there; he was convinced it was an off duty cop to be OCing. I told him he needs to get out of Nashua more.

That could be interesting for ya, maybe the next time when they see you coming, they will make sure someone actually gets over to sporting goods that has the keys

Keeping quiet only encourages the anti gun nuts.

It's well past time to stop doing that.

Exactly what I've been saying for awhile now. The PC way has only gotten us in deeper by hiding and keeping a low profile. I talk to absolutely everyone I can, everywhere I go about guns, and the challenges we face as law abiding citizens. Drives my wife crazy though![laugh]

Hey, it worked for the gays, right?[wink]

I talk of Guns as much as possible in Public. I also silently announce it as well.

Name the shop, then more of us can bring our business to pro-RKBA folks.

I had a similar experience. Was at a restaurant eating dinner at the bar with friends, one of which knows I carry. They were talking about the new gun laws and I was staying out of it. That crap only gets me angry. They share my mind frame, but it is basically just us ranting about damn lawmakers, Dems, moon bats...etc.

A guy sitting a few seats down overhears us and decides to come over and join the conversation. I sat quiet during he whole thing, nodding at the appropriate intervals. The conversation then leads to muzzle velocity, AR-15, Bushmasters, and such, and it begins to get intricate. This guy obviously knew his stuff. At one pint in the conversation the new guy says, I agree that you should be able to carry but I don't, and with that, he lifted up his shirt. My buddy on the other side of me also said, yup, me neither.... then they turn to me, and I gave my buddy the most evil stare down I've ever given. The conversation abruptly stops and we continue talking about the Pat's bye-week.....

You should have been proud and lifted your shirt!

Was speaking with the landlord of our new building at work here. Joke came up about making a range inside the warehouse. Got to talking about his guys and there a few shooters in his company. Including one that works part time at Four Seasons. Small world it is. I look forward to meeting some new shooters in the near future.

i wear a goal hat or a smith and wesson sweat shirt. some old buzzard

walks up to me and say "where's the gun" i told him it was up his ass,

feel a bit cold. he had no clue what to do.

I can't wait to start freaking out bank employees using my MG license as a second form of ID.

I was working, tending bar, and I overheard a couple guys talking suspicious talk - IDPA, steel plates, drop the mag....

I investigated, and determined they like Harvard - I "outed" myself as a Trapezoid.

We all agreed that it's sad that we have to stay in the gun safe, most of the time.

Like I've said before....Out, Loud and Proud......We're here! We Shoot! Get used to it!

game on outside fenway wanted an id in exchange for one of those table buzzer things they give out. i handed over my nra life member card. the look i got was a cross between terrified and revulsion. if the hostess had had tongs i am sure she would have used them to grasp it instead of the 2 fingernails she used. my husband and i laughed about it for the rest of the day.

Luckily, I have three young kids who are more than happy to incessantly ring the bell at the counter until someone arrives with a key. The only problem is, the library has a similar bell and doesn't appreciate hearing the tunes they learned at Walmart. [smile]

This thread got me thinking (which is a problem in itself). I've had similar incidents recently. Someone on another thread suggested "2AM" for "2nd Amendment March." It could just as easily stand for "2nd Amendment." Small pins or stickers that just have "2AM" on them to show support discreetly (at least at first) until the antis figure it out.

My reply would have been "Do you have any loss prevention specialists working the floor today? As long as we're discussing non-public security procedures, let's start with yours.'".

Tell the anti's its you way of showing support for the daylight savings time switchover.
