Living on College Campus

My girlfriend will be attending college in longmeadows does she need to notify both the local town PD and her residence PD of the move as she will only be living on campus during the semester?

Since no guns are allowed on-campus & her legal address is still "home" I'd think there'd be no reason to "report" to anyone. IANAL.

Is she changing her driver's license and voting registration? If not, then she probably isn't changing her "home."
