I assume that they are blocking traffic based on IP address. This is likely a simple routing rule in their web server (likely Apache or NGINX).

As others have suggested, a VPN with a NZ proxy would give your traffic a NZ IP address, which would likely defeat their IP address filtering.

IPvanish at least is not working. They have NZ IP addresses but it wouldn't let me through.
