Don’t forget the dipsh*ts going through the motions on the “listening tour” in MA for the new gun laws. They’re just doing that so that they can say that they cooperated with gun owners to come up with gun control laws everyone supports.

Sadly, that's another case where Trump is to blame. In PA, and several other states, he was more concerned about supporting candidates who would kowtow to him, instead of viable ones who could frikkin win. We should have taken the Senate and way more of the House in 2022, but for Trump. I supported him in the past, but no longer. I like Tim Scott, Haley, DeSantis, and anybody else who can WIN, and who isn't an intolerant, power hungry leftist. I'm sure some of you folks think that Haley is a leftist, but that's foolish to look for perfect, and find Biden in power again until 2028. By then the country will be too far gone with no hope for redemption.

No, it was, once again, the cheating, notably in the Big Dump Cities of Pittsburgh and (especially) Philly.

The Republicans can nominate the Christ with Mother Teresa as running mate and they'll still lose to Brandon and the Whore, cuz Donkeytron Cheat-O-Matic.

the idea to serialize ammunition and then license it on a whole separate basis was in the air for long enough.
and it will be sold as not something that fits under 2a, as, you can keep your guns, but, sorry, no ammo no more.

Correct, the Left controls all the Urban areas in this Country because of ignorant "Minorities" who don't understand they are pawns for Leftist Policies. If Black Folks woke up and stopped voting for their enslavers the Dem Party would be dead. The Dem party consists of America hating Elitists and Capitalist hating Socialists who don't have a clue.

It will never change. Black voters are damn proud of the fact that they control all of the biggest cities in America. They see it as their main political strength... and it is clearly working to their benefit in Washington. Give that card up? I don't think so. 🤔

This is the only possible path to fixing things without bloodshed. Get involved at the local level. Get good candidates in any office, on any board (school boards especially) and support them.

Major parties have been replaced several times throughout our country's history.

The only reason to pretend the GOP is worth salvaging is the way that media talks about our "two party system." As legacy media loses the rest of its grip on the conversation, that same system can more easily be supplanted.

I wish people would stop calling them stupid. They are anything but stupid. They go to bed every day thinking "how can we take all the guns from all these useless rubes and then round them up and send them to reeducation camps or something."

They will propose one horrible law after the other hoping that one day they can sneak one in, and then another, and then another.
 
That the proposed requirement is neither workable, nor even remotely cost effective is no concern to the democrats pushing it. They don't want to disarm criminals. Criminals are their arms length enforcers and collections agents.
They believe there will soon be a communist SCOTUS majority that will uphold all of their infringements. No matter how many times they get smacked down by SCOTUS, they will change a couple words and start over again.

I did back in the 2018 election (ran for NH state rep) and I basically lost the primary by 9 votes. My county GOP chairman was a milquetoast RINO and even though both he and I knew the guy that I was running against was bad news...arrests, assaults, etc, I "couldn't talk about it".

That "rep" ended up having to resign in disgrace because his past caught up with him. Not a word of apology to me from the county chairman. After he resigned, the chairman had the unmitigated gall to ask me if I'd run in the special election. I laughed in his face. The person who ended up winning that special election was a rabid democrat.

After the 2020 election debacle, I pulled my name from the GOP rolls and I am now happily an independent. We need a real conservative party, not a Good Ol' Boy party who has no idea what Conservatism is.

I understand your frustration. But please don't abandon the party. Come back and rebuild it so we can nominate better candidates.
