How to purchase off an auction site

There is no need for private messages. Federal law requires that a handgun purchased out of state be transferred through an FFL in the buyers state of residence. If you are the buyer then you need to find an FFL in your state who will receive the handgun and do the transfer. Start calling up dealers to find one who will do the transfer. This may be more difficult in MA. Do this before you buy a gun on an auction site.

Have you considered getting a C&R license? 1Gen is C&R for sure. I think 2Gen are as well, but I forget. Otherwise, you are going to have a tough time "importing" a non-compliance gun into the state. There are some SAA's in-state. And the prices aren't usually that much higher than out-of-state, if only b/c the demand is pretty low.
