Fringe groups (BLM, Antifa, etc) spawn other fringe groups. When you burn buildings, riot, assault police, etc and that's accepted as a valid expression of grievances, without any repercussions, then it opens the door for the other groups because violent behavior is now OK if you have a grievance.
Extreme behavior becomes the accepted norm as the abnormal and extreme is tolerated; it then becomes the new normal. If there had been a firm, enforcement of law with repercussions when businesses were destroyed, buildings burned, etc, and limits set, things could have been different. Hopefully people will start to think. This should have been put to a stop in Portland, Seattle, New York and so many other places
What happened to this woman was a travesty, but extreme turned to extreme and just kept on going. The man who shot was just another step in the rush to the extreme. It never should have been allowed to progress for month after month.
