FFL's that won't release a transfer after three days if no proceed on a nics check

Some charge $35 to $50 for basically opening a box and writing in a book.
Lol and accepting a lot of potential downstream liability / wasted time (on a good day, which is usual) if someone does something stupid (or is a victim of theft, which obviously isn't their fault) with the guns in the transfer.. even years later
Remember theres a chain of bullshit associated with that transfer the dealer has to maintain for some stupid period of time.

I anticipate a day when the skinflints will be crying hard when the avg transfer is 50 bucks. Any FFL transfer under $25 these days is a 110% gift. The only reason it's ever stayed as low as it is because of the cyclical nature of the industry.
