CCW at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

I'm heading to the race Sunday with some friends. Has anybody CCW'd there, are there pat downs or detectors on the way in?

I think they do pat downs, I worked there last year and the security was heavily armed, with AR's. IMO i would leave it in the car or at home, to avoid any issues, But it is in N.H. so they might not care.

They randomly wand and pat down. I leave mine in my vehicle.

You can leave it in the car without as many issues as you would have in MA.

Random patdowns but bags / backpacks are checked. Also heading up on Sunday.

If you're brave enough to try, let us know what happens. worst case is you go put it in your car and get back in line?

The problem with having to go back to the car is we park at a friends house over a mile away.

My last visit - the rescheduled race in Nov 2001, the security was tighter than bark to a tree...

Things may have changed since then. One thing for sure has changed since 2001- Kyle Bush will be shooting off his mouth in 2009, so maybe you will need a SD firearm!
