Ammo consumption at Pumpkin Shoot

Watching Letterman blow up that huge pumpkin in another thread and the comment, 'not enough fire', made me wonder how much ammo was used at the Pumpkin shoot?

I was kinda busy with things other than shooting but I did expend about 100 rounds.

How about we take a count of those that were there and how much you used?

...and one heckofa great time shootin' it I might say too !

I definitely did more talking then shooting...I still shot off a good 200 rounds total of various calibers, and 1 very nice .50BMG.

Hmmm... I honestly didn't shoot too much because of my hand. Maybe about 30 rounds on pistol and then another 25 rounds total trying out other people's guns.

I think Patrick probably shot about 50 rounds. So for the two of us count about 105 total.

Hmmm....I know I went through 100 rounds n my G23, I think roughly 25 through the .45, 1 500 (thanx, Eddie and Scott!) and something else - can't remember, but it was all a blast!

I too was doing more talking than shooting but I'd say rough estimate would be 80 rounds of Ruger .204, 60 rounds of 7.62x54, and 80 rounds of 7.62x39.

200 rnds of .45
100 rnds of .223
20 rnds of .357
250 rnds of .22lr
70 rnds of 308

Plus an additonal 19 rnds of the 50 bmg ammo.

Total = 659

DAMN!!!

I know I used around 200 rounds of my own stuff....and maybe 100 of other people's generocity.
