I took the advice of many ... But man, the price for 50 rounds was hurtful. ...

Shooting is like many other activities; expen$ive to develop any real competence. Ammo, gear, classes, etc. ... it all adds up very quickly.

Only if it's a good trigger on a nice 1911. If it is the pleasure is almost orgasmic.

GO with the 1911 the recoil not much more than the 9. the weight of the 1911 comps for the recoil.
