Based on what true military 1911A1s sell for on GB and the like, that price is actually pretty much where it should be.
I don't know if I'll buy one or not. Maybe just for the collector factor. I don't like 1911's at all.

That would be outstanding.....add it to my now 3 year wait for 22lr ammo order!
seeing they said yes to GARAND choice if I missed the carbine cut then flopped on that and said no I doubt cmp will be taking much back orders any more
