I think that Colt came out absolutely awesome. I would give my eye teeth for an original Colt with a born on date before VE day.
Sweeney - that was a truly classy thing to do for all the right reasons and I hope that Colt shoots as good as she looks. May she serve you well and I think it is awesome that the OP's brother gets to see the great job you did on it.
