1911A1 Colt / Ithaca parts gun

Picked it up late this afternoon


Tossed it in the ultra sonic cleaner and the water turned brown in the first few seconds . Not much finish left ,I guess I'll put it together and see how it shoots.

As a 'parts' gun, what's missing for you to make it whole?

Its all whole but it was rebuilt at onetime. Colt frame with a Ithaca slide that has the real ruff sand blast texture.
The Colt frame shows real nice machine work that makes me now understand why people love early colt 1911s.
The grips are replacement grips that are not correct along with the barrel

The no finish thing was bothering me so into the park tank. Early this AM I had some time at work
and 30 mins later . Used Shooter's Solutions Zinc Park. Just waiting for a new spring kit to show up on UPS later this week.
