Figured out why my shooting apps were way off at 600 meters. It's because the target was at 500 meters! Light wind today, only about 5mph or so. So glad that my 308 is dead nuts on at any distance. Now it just comes down to me. We practiced shooting off our packs in the prone position at 300 yards. Very stable and accurate. Then to top it off, my 34.8gr imr4895 reloads are hitting close to my factory hunting round.
Then we brought out the ARs. 73gr factory ammo is dead on out to 300 meters. Did not have a chance to take it further. And was also getting similar results with my 69gr reloads. We might go coyote hunting tonight. We are ready.
