Remember that KE increases as a square function of speed.

KE=MV^2

square root of 1.2 is roughly 1.1, so you only need to bump MV by 10% to get a 20% bump in KE.

I didn't get to the range this weekend, but what I've seen online indicates a gain of about 100fps when going from the stock 4.6" bbl to the 6" LWD, which should be around a 17-20% gain in KE with my 180gr stuff.

They made them like that. FBI wanted them at the same time they originally (briefly) adopted 10mm pistols, and still have a bunch. They're discontinued though.

You can get a clone in 40, but I don't know of anyone making a 10mm version besides H&K. Maybe someday they will become parts kits.

I stand corrected, I just checked and DJ Getz (one of the best clone makers out there) is making 10mm versions.

I want a 610 pretty bad.

Yeah. Even though I got ridiculous money for it, I still regret it. The 4" gun with an unfluted cylinder looks just so freaking awesome.

I got it for IDPA SSR, to use with .40 with moon clips, but the next year they outlawed moon clips from SSR. So it just sat in the safe.
