So a comment Siamese Rat made about wanting about 15 guns made me think... what's on your wish list? I'll start it off.

Guns I want to buy (Limited because I live in PRMA, and not necessarily in this order)

M1 Carbine (maybe... haven't decided yet)

1911 (full size) - haven't decided brand yet. Colt or S&W, probably)

This is something I've been wondering about since the gunshow last week: "What do I want?" I have samples from most of the major food groups except a double-barrelled shotgun or a long-distance bolt gun.

Some ideas I'm pondering:

12g or 16g SxS (that Amer Arms sxs Turkey Gun looked pretty good)
Single-stack 9x19 or 9 Largo (for daughter or me; not sure which)
Feather AT-22? (they're cute, but I really don't need another 22)
FN49, M1A or L1A1? (I have a Garand, don't know why I think I need one of these)
SMLE Mk 4 or Mk 5?
Rolling Block or Ruger No. 3 in 45-70?
Rashid or Oly AR in 7.62x39?

Remington Navy Rolling Block 50 cal Pistol
Did H&R ever make a semi version of the Reising M50? THAT would be neat!

3) M 16 (yes boys, I mean full auto, not an AR, but I'll put a Bushmaster or DPMS for #4)

8) AK-47 (full auto of course)

I'm limiting myself to 15 because that was the random number I originally mentioned. But in all honesty, I'm not picky. this is how it goes:

PS- I realize the potential redundancy of wanting a full-auto capable M16 as well as a semi only AR 15, but the thing is that if I only had one and it was capable of full auto I would never, ever, ever put it on semi. So I need one to hold me back before I blow through $300 of ammo in the course of an hour. [wink]
 
I'm surprised by the number of guns on all the wish lists that I already own.
I'm pretty lucky by that standard. (It's taken a LONG time.)
I'm equally surprised by how many of your wish list items are also on mine!
The current (short) list is:

2. Walther PPK Stainless
 
I'm with Cross-X. Software is way more important than Hardware.

That said, I REALLY need a Socom 16 and a S&W 340PD.

They're almost certainly the next two guns I'm going to buy.

After that, a Marlin in 45-70 and a Ruger Alaskan in 454 Casull, for when I retire to somewhere in the Rocky Mountains.

Maybe a Kel-Tec as a deep hide-out gun.
