The Rise was on last night. Seeing that story told primarily through home movies was really eerie.

Good show. Footage was quite eerie and creepy. First episode detailed how the allies screwed Germany after WWI, which gave Hitler and the Nazi`s a cause to rally the German people.

Pick up a copy of The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William L. Shirer. If you haven't already read it you should. Well worth it. The author was there for many of the significant moments.
