IIRC, you are not impersonating a LEO in MA till you try to perform the actions on a LEO (try to arrest someone, pull a car over, ect.).
Of course, that just means they either won't charge you or the charges will be dismissed. They will most likely still grab you just out of suspicion.
The only thing i could see these being used for, are the presidential debates. States that are CCW only could have this LOL. On the other hand, i think a visible empty holster would present a larger statement.
