Terrorist Attack in Paris

He was wounded. What did you want him to do, throw his boot at the gunner? [rolleyes]

Presuming he had a handgun, keep shooting.

On April 21, 1945, Inouye was grievously wounded while leading an assault on a heavily-defended ridge near San Terenzo in Tuscany, Italy, called the Colle Musatello. The ridge served as a strongpoint of the German fortifications known as the Gothic Line, the last and most unyielding line of German defensive works in Italy. As he led his platoon in a flanking maneuver, three German machine guns opened fire from covered positions 40 yards away, pinning his men to the ground. Inouye stood up to attack and was shot in the stomach. Ignoring his wound, he proceeded to attack and destroy the first machine gun nest with hand grenades and his Thompson submachine gun. When informed of the severity of his wound, he refused treatment and rallied his men for an attack on the second machine gun position, which he successfully destroyed before collapsing from blood loss.[11]

Inouye as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army
As his squad distracted the third machine gunner, Inouye crawled toward the final bunker, coming within 10 yards. As he raised himself up and cocked his arm to throw his last grenade, a German soldier inside the bunker fired a rifle grenade, which struck his right elbow, nearly severing most of his arm and leaving his primed grenade reflexively "clenched in a fist that suddenly didn't belong to me anymore".[12] Inouye's horrified soldiers moved to his aid, but he shouted for them to keep back out of fear his severed fist would involuntarily relax and drop the grenade. While the German inside the bunker reloaded his rifle, Inouye pried the live grenade from his useless right hand and transferred it to his left. As the enemy soldier aimed his rifle at him, Inouye tossed the grenade into the bunker and destroyed it. He stumbled to his feet and continued forward, silencing the last German resistance with a one-handed burst from his Thompson before being wounded in the leg and tumbling unconscious to the bottom of the ridge. He awoke to see the worried men of his platoon hovering over him. His only comment before being carried away was to order them back to their positions, saying "nobody called off the war!"[13]

There you have it.
In a society with any balls this shitbird should be on the next plane out with a boot print on his ass and a warning not to come back.
But nope, his ilk will be welcome with open arms if not in England then probably here.
The problem is they aren't attacking the right people.

The irony is that this guy is exercising his freedom of speech to voice his opposition to ...freedom of speech.

ETA: Should have read the Cleric's response first.

It seems to me that he's in favor of murdering people who don't agree with him, because his opinion is "divinely inspired" even though he fully admits that there are many people Muslim and non-Muslim alike who interpret that "divine inspiration" in a different way than he does.

Looks more to me like he's advocating the murder of anyone he doesn't agree with.
Not only that, in their own country.
D-bag is a guest there.
Time to roll up the welcome mat.

A fool, but he got one thing right:

The truth is that Western governments are content to sacrifice liberties and freedoms when being complicit to torture and rendition — or when restricting the freedom of movement of Muslims, under the guise of protecting national security.

His point, in a nutshell, is that western governments stomp on liberty routinely when it's in their interests, so why not stomp on the liberties of cartoonists and the like when they insult "the Prophet".

Personally, my view is **** "the Prophet" and these Islamic idiots.

But, for those who embrace oppressive governments when their interests are served he has a point in noting their hypocrisy.

Maybe the French had enough? They put a bomb next to a mosque(looking for other sources) http://shoebat.com/2015/01/08/frenc...onate-explosion-people-getting-enraged-islam/

French police source stated that an explosion took place at a kebab restaurant near the mosque in Villefranche-sur-Saone, eastern France. http://sputniknews.com/europe/20150108/1016657787.html

That's the thing I was thinking all along, but never voiced. Fight fire with fire, and terror with terror. Three dozens of theirs for every dozen of ours. I know A LOT of people back in the ol country who are just waiting for TSHTF. I know many on here think of my people as cheese eating surrender monkeys. But watch what happens now. The french are fed up with the socialists (Hollande's approval ratings were in the single digits recently), and if the ultra nationalists get any kind of real power in the future, France will become a bad place to be a Muslim. They'll find out they just screwed with the wrong people.

I wouldn't bet on it. Any more than I would here.

Yeah, my b.i.l. replied t my post of this on FB saying that they're just as bad as the terrorists. My reply?
oh, you're right. just because a lot of europeans can't go to parts of their own countries(england, holland, france etc.) and JUST because they get attacked by muslims if they do, and just because muslims do things like this pretty much on a daily basis in a lot of countries(including beheading children), they shouldn't stand up for themselves or their countries. they should just keep being more tolerant. bend over, keep taking it, right?

I hope the real French stand up and take their country back soon. It's long overdue, and I'm saying that as someone who is part French decent. Vive le France!

That's Paula Dean.
I was trying for a Jimmy Dean reference, but your Dean works just as well LOL

Sent from my chimney using smoke signals.

I think that we need to stop labeling them as "Islamic Extremists"
They are not Extremists, just Muslims & part of the fastest growing cult in the history of the world..
Read the Qur'an if you do not believe me.

Well considering their are 1.6 Billion Muslims, or roughly 1/4th the population of the world, and these things are done by an extremely small percentage of that number, I'd say you are wrong.

Relatively speaking then, Christians would be what, the second largest cult? Read the Bible if you do not believe me.

It's the dose that makes the poison. With some of these poll results, it seems advisable to just be a hair more cautious than with the xtians.

I'm not defending Islam, but I will point out that chart is a % of a %.

Notice the graph says "among Muslims who say Sharia should be law". So without knowing what percentage of all Muslims that is in each location that chart is completely meaningless.

Correct, but read the entire article, in the first paragraph they state

Correction: An earlier version of this article incorrectly extrapolated data from the Pew Research Center’s 2013 survey report, “The World’s Muslims: Religion, Politics and Society,” regarding the percentage of Muslims in Egypt and Pakistan who support the death penalty for leaving Islam. The correct figures, based on the 2013 Pew Research Center report, are 88% of Muslims in Egypt and 62% of Muslims in Pakistan favor the death penalty for people who leave the Muslim religion.

So it is not looking that rosy for you if you're an infidel in Egypt or Pakistan.

I guess if you're a "glass is half full" kind of guy, then you could say 12% of the Muslims in Egypt won't want you killed if you were to renounce their religion.

Clarification. The question refers to "leave" -- aka an apostate. Not someone who never was Muslim to begin with, but someone who was a Muslim then left.

All good points, though none of them do much to substantiate weldingmachines obscene generalization that 1.6 billion people are murdering terrorists like the guys who committed the 12 murders in Paris. I'm not Muslim nor do I care for the religion, but saying all Muslims are like that is a joke. I'd be pretty perturbed if I was a Muslim and someone equated me to them.
