Target Sports Delivering Again - Megathread

I found a spot that would let me shoot 1000 yards but it goes over a road. still above where people would drive, but im not risking that.

also theres a school on the other side used as a berm but I don't think its possible to hit unless you shot at like a 5° angle up

Bro, you want to shoot over a road at a school?
[rofl]

jackets came off. I suspect speed is the cause. They were both running close to 3000fps out of a 26" barrel.

Yep. YMMV. Don't post results here though or you'll be called a retard for attempting to get them to 3000fps.

any of you shoot skeet/trap? Any recommendations that you’ve seen available for 12g and 2 3/4” ? Hear it’s bit tough to find but I’m new to clays so appreciate some pointers.

Target Sports has #8 for $91/case fo 250. This should work well for skeet and trap as you're learning. I think the common recommendation is #9 for skeet and #7.5 for trap. If you're shooting at a proper skeet/trap club, they usually have ammo for sale to club members for really good price!

Unfortunately those exceed the by laws due to potential damage to the nets - (max is 1290 FPS)

I’ll keep researching- appreciate the basic breakdown!

UPS lost a box of ammo.

3 orders. 2 arrived, one disappeared.

TSUSA customer service is awesome, they initiated a claim immediately and have me the option to reship or refund.
Did you do the shipping insurance? I've been leaving it off lately.

Yikes....we don't have that at my club. Shoot any fps......just nothing over size 7. No nets.

You might want to try Wal Mart...the 4 packs of Federal or Winchester are still reasonable in price. I have no idea what speed they are usually less than 1200 I think.

The ones in my stash are (labeled) 1200

my dream range would be shooting across a 4 lane highway, between two LNG storage tanks, and in the general direction of an elementary school or hospital. 2A, baby!!

and I see @peterk123 already posted that. Someone please notify the dupe police.
