that's exactly what I do too.
Greg Derr did the trigger on my Shield (and my FS .40) they are like new guns.
Talon grips on both, the shield is so easy to carry.

If your in MA, the shield is really nice AFTER you do a trigger job and night sights. Very comfortable, thin, conceals well ans a 6 and 7 round magazine.

Cant speak for the Sig since I've never held one of those models.

Also, I have a G43 and really like it, everything is factory except the sights. Very comfortable, similar in size to the shield. One drawback compared to the shield is you get two 6 round magazines. They should have replaced the pinky extension with a +1 to get 7 rounds to be comparable.

Sig 320 compact is the same size as a G19. Love the gun.

Why .40, op?

Have a shield too, super slim. It's my "going out" gun. Appendix carry it and nobody knows it's there.

G43 or LC9s Pro. Give up .40... the FBI has figured it out... time we did too. Of the two you listed, I'd get the Sig in 9mm. Hickok45's review more or less sold me on it. I'd owned a Shield and couldn't learn to like it.
