will a basic ruger 10/22 with tech sights work for rimfire rifle?
Worked for me last time. Although strangely enough, I think you'd get better speed with the original Ruger open sights. (Yeah, they still suck, but I think this would be the ONE application that they'd suck less at - SHORT RANGE.)
Damn... with all this iron sight rimfire discussion... I may have to bring out the Mk II... haven't shot that for MANY years!
I'm strongly leaning open rimfire. If we can make a practice beforehand, I may try to get my girlfriend to try it. Open rimfire in steel challenge is probably the easiest place to have a good time at your first match.
You should! Iron rimfire is sooo much fun. I've got a Mk I and shooting that is one of the things I like most about SC.Damn... with all this iron sight rimfire discussion... I may have to bring out the Mk II... haven't shot that for MANY years!
Its on my wedding day, wonder if I can re-schedule???
so that's a red dot or a scope?
NES Open-carry wedding?
I believe 1 gun only is the plan, and with this many respondents coming it should be a great match. All eight stages makes for a long match. Will this mean we will only be shooting one gun?
Yes - One gun is the plan for now - if that changes we will post here prior to the match.I believe 1 gun only is the plan, and with this many respondents coming it should be a great match.
IN - New guy question disclaimer. My 1911 .45acp. was considered "single stack" at the only other shoot I did, can I use this gun? I did not see "single stack" listed.
If not S&W M&P 9c, I think would be "production"? Which gun can I use? I am just getting familiar with the different catagories.
I would prefer the 1911 .45acp.
Or this could be an excuse to buy a new gun
Thanks!!
You would shoot in "Pistol Iron"
